Donna J. (Burkett) Fitzgerald

Donna J. Fitzgerald, 77, of Irvine, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 14, 1946 in Johnstown, PA, a daughter to the late James and Margaret Burkett. She worked for Northwest Bank as an Operations Specialist for many years.

Donna enjoyed kayaking, fishing, gardening and traveling to bluegrass festivals with her husband and friends, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandsons.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Fitzgerald, who she married on April 29, 1967 in Johnstown, PA; her children, Stephanie Fitzgerald and Mark Fitzgerald; her grandsons, Gavin & Graydon Fitzgerald; her brother, Richard Burkett and her sister, Elizabeth Kist.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Hegadus and her brother, James Burkett.

Per Donna’s wishes, no services will be held.
