Melissa “Lisa” Stover, 49, of Youngsville PA passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Warren General Hospital.
She was born in Warren, PA, on September 12, 1974, a daughter of Barry and Marie (Wolfe) Crist of Pittsfield, who survive her.
She graduated from Youngsville High School, Class of 1992, and the Raphael School of Beauty in Jamestown, NY. Lisa had worked at the Blair Corporation in returns and also the Dairy Queen in Youngsville.
Lisa enjoyed crocheting, family gatherings for holidays especially picnics by the pond, playing cards and board games, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and dogs.
Despite the illnesses that Lisa battled, she seldom complained about her discomfort. Lisa was always able to smile or give an infectious giggle. She was very appreciative and showed gratitude to those who provided her medical care, and to her family who helped her.
In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Martin Stover, who she married on March 4, 2004 in Tidioute, PA; her children Derek Wachter of Pittsfield, Seth (Shana) Wachter of Warren, Quinn (Abby) Wachter of Clarendon and Alexis Stover at home; her grandchildren Grayson, Norah, Katie Mae and Everleigh; her siblings Kim (Kevin) Hoover of Pittsfield, Jennifer (Todd) Olson of Warren, Tim (Ingrid) Crist of Lake City CO, Bob Crist of Florida , Deborah (William) Leonard of Warren, and Kate (Jason) Arndt of Edinboro; her in-laws Tom and Rose Stover, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at the New Life Church, 18 Second Street in Youngsville, on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 2-4 pm.
