Marjorie Anne Herberg, 70 , of Irvine, who passed away Saturday July 4, 2020 at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

She was born August 21 1949 in Warren to the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Steuart) Mason and the late Merle and Elizabeth (Vanderhoof) Fitzgerald. She lived her entire life in Irvine. Marge was a 1967 graduate of Youngsville High School and a graduate of nursing training from Meadville where she became a registered nurse. She worked 30 years at the Corry Memorial Hospital in the OB unit where she can be fondly remembered wearing her white nurse's cap. Marge enjoyed traveling with her family, and many years of camping.  If you she wasn't attending her children's sporting events and subsequently her grandchildren's, she could be found in her garden or involved in a good book.  She loved a nice yard with flowers. She also spent many years involved in the Youngville Fire Hall's auxiliary. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Marge was a very loving and giving person and would help anybody she could. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed greatly.

Marge married David Herberg on March 1, 1975 and who preceded her in death in 2000.  She is survived by her 2 daughters, Martha (Chad) Gray and Kathryn Jukes and her companion Paul Armes.  Also, her grandchildren, Mason Benjamin, Linsey Jukes, Reagan Benjamin, Thomas Jukes, Abigail Jukes and Hailey Gray, her sisters, Mary Mason and Nancy (Arden) Smith, a brother Donald Fitzgerald, and her brother-in law Richard (Carolyn) Herberg and several nieces and nephews. And of course, her beloved dog Freddie.

Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday from 3 to 6pm at the Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Youngsville, at which time a funeral service will be held there. Burial will be in the Spring Creek Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Warren Co. Veterans transportation at 204 4th Ave. Warren Pa. 16365. Condolences to the family may be made to www.nelsonfuneralhome.net.
