Lisa R. Richards, 59, of Irvine, Pa, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 in Select Specialty Care at Allegheny Valley Hospital.

She was born January 12, 1962, a daughter to the late Robert  Ross Peate and Barbara Mechling Peate Fredricks who survives her. Lisa was a 1980 graduate of WAHS and worked for 22 years at Blair. She helped care for the Birdsall Eddy Girls Scout Camp for 13 years and attended the Pittsfield Wesleyan Methodist Church. She loved animals, watching birds and being on the river but, most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband David Richards who she married on June 7, 1980 in Youngsville; her children, Joleen (Tony) Leary of Clearwater, FL, Nicole Richards-Works of Tampa, FL and Jason (Amanda) Richards of Indiana, Pa; her grandchildren, Avery, Anthony, Telisa, Hunter and Scarlett; her siblings, Barry (Sara) Peate of Youngsville, Victoria Woods of Warren, Robert ( Veronica) Peate of Youngsville, Laverne Daehlhousen of Tidioute and Greg Peate of Irvine; her father-in-law, Bill Richards of Warren; her beloved cat, Forest P. Pumpernickel and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Lisa was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Kay Richards, her step father, RD Fredricks, her nephew, Jeremy and life long family friend, Alton "Tiny" Caddy.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 25, at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main Street, Youngsville, Pa 16371, from 4-7pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11am at the Pittsfield Wesleyan Methodist Church, 164 Main Street, Pittsfield, pa 16340, with the Rev. Paul Kruse, pastor, officiating.
