Apolonia Mrowiec, 96, of 12 Schantz St. Warren, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at the Corry Manor, Corry, Pa.

Apolonia was born October 28, 1913 in Poland to the late Wawrzyniec and Jozepha Sukiennik. She was employed by Joseph and Feiss suit factory in Cleveland, Oh as a presser. Apolonia enjoyed gardening and sewing and was a member of the St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church in Cleveland Ohio.

She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Miller of Warren, Pa.; five grandchildren, Sue Vanguilder of Warren, Tom Wojtkiewicz of Pittsfield, Dan Wojtkiewicz of Warren, Cheryl Stover of Youngsville, Randy Wojtkiewicz of Parma, Ohio, and Amanda Miller of Cleveland, Ohio.; 18 greatgrandchildren and by a brother and sister still in Poland.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Estanislaw Mrowiec and four brothers.

Friends may call at the Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 314 North Mains St., Youngsville, from 5-8 pm on Thursday, September 9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, Pennsylvania Ave. Warren, Pa., with the Rev. Msgr. John Lucas, Pastor, as celebrant. A vigil service will be conducted at the Funeral Home at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield, Ohio.
