Roger A. Mrofchinski, 63, of 2nd St. Youngsville, passed away on Wednesday February 17, 2016 at the Warren General Hospital after a short illness

Roger was born July 14, 1952 in Ridgway, Pa., a son to the late Isadore and Edith (Oerly) Mrofchinski. He was a 1970 graduate of Ridgway High school and then when on to work at PennDot as a snowplow operator, retiring from there in 2012.  Roger loved tinkering around the house and his lawn, and plowing snow.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Kris Dale Mrofchinski, whom she married January 1, 1979 at the Saron Lutheran Church in Youngsville. Also surviving are his 2 sisters, Marlene (Donald) Carr of Ridgway and Brenda Wiessenfluh of Johnsonburg and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd at 12:30 p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 North Main St. in Youngsville.  Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.

Sure gonna miss seeing Roger taking care of "his" lawn and just working outside. Trae n I enjoyed watching him, n I know Trae loved the ride on Rogers tractor😊. Please except our sincere condolences.......

So sorry to hear about Roger. I haven't seen him in quite a while but have fond memories of spending time with him and Larry Wickwire and the gang in our younger days. He was a good guy and will surely be missed.
