Dawn S. Lindstrom, 48, of Pittsfield, PA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at her home.

She was born June 21, 1970, in Warren, PA, a daughter to the late Rebecca (Saunders) Rowland and Rodney Rowland whom survives her. Dawn was a 1988 graduate of Youngsville High School. She was a cheerleader and captain of her squad her junior and senior years, which is why she was voted “Most School Spirit.” Dawn was a people person and would go out of her way to talk with people.

She loved going to the races, most of all dirt track races at Stateline and Eriez Speedways. Her love for racing started around the age of 5, and was cultivated by her uncle Randy, Lars Huling, and especially her grandmother Helen Rowland, who had always been an inspiration in her life.

Dawn’s home and family were her life. She and her husband Jim built a log home and a family over a 30 year span that was beautiful by all accounts, and Dawn was the key to it all. Her ability to decorate inside and her green thumb outside made their house a home. Her passion for life and all things beautiful, will forever make the lives of others much richer.

In addition to her father, Dawn is survived by her loving husband, James Lindstrom; her children, Nicholas Lindstrom of Pittsfield, Nathan Lindstrom and his fiancé, Sabrina Spencer, of Warren, and Daisy Lindstrom of Pittsfield; her siblings, Jody Rowland of Pittsfield and Rodney (Lacy) Rowland of Warren; 2 grandchildren, Casey and Noah Lindstrom and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Dawn was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Helen Rowland, her maternal grandparents and her aunt, Annie Gourley.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, February 13 from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Youngsville Free Methodist Church, 179 Davis Street, Youngsville, PA 16371. A funeral service will be held there on Thursday, February 14 at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in Warren County Memorial Park.

Memorial donations may be made to New Hope Assistance Dogs Inc., 3 Scott Run Road, Warren, PA 16365.

I am sadden to hear of Dawn passing. I remember her from Dunns Eddy back in the late 1970's. She was a friend of my daughter. May she rest in peace and the family find comfort in the memories you have of her.
