William R. Rea, 80, of Youngsville, Pa., passed away early Thursday morning, June 27, 2019 at home with his family.

He was born in Warren, Pa. on May 28, 1939, son to the late Cloyd and Luella Holmes Rea. Bill was a US Army veteran and worked for the National Forge in the heat treat department, retiring after many years of work. He was a member of the Youngsville American Legion Post #658 and the Sugar Grove AMVETS Post #50. Bill always enjoyed watching the Steelers, Pirates and Celtics play.

He is survived by his son, Wally (Rena) Ciukaj; his grandchildren, Nicole (Bill) Ward and Chester Ciukaj and a great-granddaughter, Jazlynn Ward, all of Youngsville.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Delores “Dolly” Bojarski Rea; a son, Chester G. Ciukaj and a brother, Robert Walters.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Youngsville American Legion honor guard will provide full military honors. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
