Ann L. Hillberry, RD 1, Tidioute, Pa, 97, being the oldest resident at Cambridge Warren, went to the angels on June 5, 2020 surrounded by her family.

She was born August 14, 1922 in Munhall, Pa. Daughter of the late Ann Sohowski and Albert Yarkosky. Ann was a choir member of St. John’s in Tidioute and belonged to the Watson Home Extension and Watson Grange. Her hobbies such as, gardening, baking and quilting will be fondly remembered. Her quilts will live on in homes.

Ann was survived by her daughter, Nancy L. Purcell, her beloved only child, formerly of Tidioute, and husband, Michael J. Purcell, who now reside in Warren, Pa. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Kimberly A. Thomas of Charlotte, NC; Kristin L. Fehlman and her husband, Matthew, of Youngsville, Pa, Clint D. Moore and his wife, Misty, of Youngsville, Pa; five great-grandchildren, Kyler S. Bosko, Carson D. Bosko, Madison M. Fehlman, Emelyn O. Moore, and Kadyn M. Moore all of Youngsville, Pa; her sister, Veronica Vallo of Munhall, Pa and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Dale H. Hillberry, her handsome Marine as she called him, as well as 5 sisters and 4 brothers.

A private Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church and burial will follow at St. Jacqueline Cemetery in Tidioute.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Warren County, PO Box 68, Warren, PA 16365 or at or to the Tidioute VFD, 228 Main Street, Tidioute, Pa 16351.
