Robert (Bob) P. Thelin, 65, of Warren, Pa, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at UPMC Hamot Medical Center.
He was born May 18, 1955 in Warren, Pa, a son to the late Roger L. Thelin and Erma (Spicer) Thelin of Warren, Pa. Bob was a 1973 graduate of Eisenhower High School. He worked for Roger Luvison & Son as a bricklayer and stonemason for more than 30 years. Bob was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, canoeing, and 4-wheeling. He loved trips to the Gulf of Mexico and Keuka Lake. He enjoyed watching Penn State football and auto racing, but most of all, he enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow.
In addition to his mother, Bob is survived by his loving wife, Claudia Luvison Thelin, whom he married on May 24, 1975 at St. Luke’s Church in Youngsville, Pa; two daughters, Lindsay (Eric) Wagner of Smithfield, RI and Lacy (Jeremy) Thompson of Erie, Pa; his grandchildren, Garen and Kaya Wagner and Ella and Mia Thompson; a sister, Pamela (Phil) Damiani of Churchville, NY, his in-law’s, Claude and Nan Luvison; his brother-in-laws, Michael Luvison, Jef (Marlene) Luvison, Matt (Penny) Luvison and Kelly (Karen) Luvison; a sister-in-law, Natalie (Craig) Ostergaard and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nyla Luvison.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memories! Of idyllic high school kids who remain implanted in my thoughts of those wonderful years. Of families and joyous lives, although cur short so well lived. Truly the best of times and people. Thank you for providing them.
God Bless

I was rewarded to be a high school friend and teammate of Bob. I remember the ups and downs of the football games, but he was always the same afterward. May you be comforted by a loving God that is always there for you. Blessings to the family.
