Jean Barbara (Crisp) Port,74, of Youngsville, PA, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.

Jean was born on January 28, 1947 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England to Edgar and Lilian Crisp Margetson.

Jean married Daniel Owen Port, Sr., in Ipswich April 11, 1970, where he was stationed with the US Airforce. She immigrated to the United States and lived in Las Vegas, NV before settling in Youngsville.
Jean was a quiet but formidable woman who lived for her family and being Nana. A homemaker most of her life, she took great pride in her housekeeping. She enjoyed reading, watching romantic comedy movies, and listening to music- especially country.  After decades out of the workforce, when her children were grown, she worked at PVI as a dishwasher. She found companionship with two black labs, Molly and Sally. She had a strong Christian faith which she expressed in her baptism August 23, 2020.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and an infant twin brother at birth.

She is survived by five children, Daniel Port, Jr., Sandra (Joseph) Cedrone, , Lori (Bodie) Rose, all of Youngsville, Linda (Daniel) Tassone, of Warren, and Robert (Melissa) Port of Midland, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Abby Tassone, Emily (Ryan) Rickerson, Cole (Kelsey) Cedrone, Sarah and Brett Rose, Keziah and Zoey Port, two great-grandchildren- Paisley and Colby Rickerson, a brother- Edgar (Linda) Margetson, of Ipswich, Suffolk, England; a sister- Eileen (Joseph) Sondej, Trenton, New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at noon at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 North Main St. in Youngsville with the Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor of the Youngsville free Methodist Church, officiating. Friends will be received 1 hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in the Youngsville Cemetery.
