Kevin Shubert, 55, of Tiona, passed away on March 3rd, 2021 at his residence.

He was born on July 7, 1965, in Cleveland, OH, a son to the late John Shubert and Nellie (Smalley) Beitsinger. Kevin loved listening to music and playing guitar. He played in 4 local bands, Bag of Bones, Hostage 58, Dr. Awkward We the People and Full Circle. He enjoyed yardwork and being outside, stargazing. He loved Christmas and would always try and outdo himself every year. His furry companions, Stevie Ray and Sadie Mae, were a huge part of his life. He also enjoyed his spiritual mediational journey he more recently started. A quote from Kevin: "Keep in mind my friends, some things we think matter, really don’t....Love what you have, have what you love....Just sayin....”

You will be missed but never forgotten in our lives. Many funny memories our family had because of your humor and quick wit. It was an honor being your brother.

There are no words to express how I feel and will feel in the future. You have been the strongest and amazing man I am proud to call my father. I can't bare that I didn't get to spend the time with you I hoped for. Thank you so much for pushing as hard as you could till the very end. I love you so much dad and miss you more than anything.

Kevin, I going miss you my brother! I enjoy working with you. I watch you keep smile on your face every day in last few years. As you battle cancer. I always tell people. Kevin toughest man, I ever met. In military, I met tough soldiers. Like special forces. You rank with them. God bless my brother Kevin! We met up down the road!

Lanae,
Our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. I know how much Kevin loved your dogs and supported our work here at PAWS. We are so very sad to know we won't see Kevin coming to visit again. He was a special man and we are grateful to have known him. We are here if you need anything. Warmest blessings, PAWS staff
