David H. Tremblay, 89, of Youngsville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Kinzua Healthcare & Rehab Center in Warren.

He was born on October 29, 1931, a son to the late Joy Olive Baker Flaus and raised by his late step-father, William Flaus. David graduated in the Youngsville High School class of 1950 and then served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, he attended Woodbury Business College in Los Angeles, CA. After moving back to Pennsylvania, he started Tremblay Tree Service in Corry and operated it for over 40 years. He also owned and operated an Equipment Sales business for about 20 years at his home as well as 2 Dairy Farms in Erie Co. He was an active member of Beaverdam Mennonite Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.

He is survived by his children, David (Debbie) Tremblay of Wrightsville, PA, Dale Tremblay of Arizona, Darrel Tremblay of Jamestown, NY, Tina (John) Bergman of Panama, NY, Candice Knapp of Niobe, NY, Pamela Carnes of Ashville, NY, Rev. James (Brenda) Tremblay of Pittsburgh, PA, John Tremblay of Sterling, Massachusetts and Anne (Joe) McQuiston of Erie, PA; his step-children, Richard Davis of Anderson, SC, Scott (Kristine) Davis of Danville, VA, Darryl (Heather) Graves of Lakeland, FL and Lynn (Nicole) Graves of Painesville, OH; 33 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Laurel Thompson of Altadena, CA, Joy Little of Pittsfield, PA and Brighton Flaus of San Jose, CA.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Tremblay and Step-Son Roger Graves.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, July 9, from 4-7pm at the Beaverdam Mennonite Church, 17721 PA-89, Corry, PA 16407. A funeral service will be held there at 11 am on Saturday, July 10 with the Rev. Randy Carr, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawn Cemetery where Military Honors will be provided.

Memorial donations may be made to the Beaverdam Mennonite Church.
