Kristy Lord Dailey, of Dunns Eddy, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pa.

She born on March 8, 1947 in Warren, Pa, the daughter of the late Stuart & Orvetta Lord of Warren. Kristy was loved by all for her lively spirit and caring for all. She worked a short time at Blair but was mainly a stay at home mother and a dedicated farm wife willing to do anything. She loved the Fair and was an accomplished sewer and quilter. She will be greatly missed for her friendship and long phone conversations. She enjoyed her special group “The Ripples” which they all shared great fun and adventures. Kristy was strong in her faith and church and an inspiration to many. God Bless to all of those who supported and loved her until the end.

She is survived by her husband, Jim, whom she married in Warren on March 15, 1969 and shared 52 loving years together; her two sons, John Dailey and his companion, Maria Munksgard, of Dunns Eddy and Mark (Kelly) Dailey of Rutherfordton, NC; her beloved grandchildren, Avery, Gracin & Zane of North Carolina and Tyler Nelson of Pittsburgh, Pa; a sister, Marylin (Dick) Rodgers of Yankee Bush and a nephew, Robert; a sister-in-law, Jane Dailey Oswald and niece, Ryah of Scranton and nephew, Mitch, of Philadelphia; her adopted Amish family, Steve and Martha Yoder of Apple Creek, OH and a dear friend, Sis Johnson of Florida.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, in Youngsville, have been entrusted with all arrangements. Condolences to the family may be made at www.nelsonfuneralhome.net.

Dear Jim, boys, and family...We so admired Kristy for her grounded ways of life, her outgoing personality, and her love for her family. She talked with me a good many times about doing what the heart tells you to do and not what others tell you to do or think of you. She lived life with gusto. We are so sorry to hear of her passing.

Our deepest sympathy at the loss of Kristy. No one was as much fun and friendlier than her! We used to joke on how she was from Warren and I was from a farm when we were young (both Lords), and she managed to get her farm and I went to town! John and Matt were friends at YHS. I enjoyed her videos on Facebook of country life. She will be greatly missed.
