Marshall “Al” D. Allen, 78, of Warren, Pa passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at his home.

He was born June 1, 1943 in Garland, Pa, a son to the late Clinton and Allene Allen of Albion, Pa. He attended YHS for a short time before moving to Cranesville, Pa where he was a 1961 graduate of Northwestern High School. He joined the Army National Guard serving from 1963-1969 and then worked for Carter Lumber in Warren for more than 40 years. He loved hunting with his brothers, 4-wheel riding and fishing for Walleye on Lake Erie. Al enjoyed his time at camp and most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Connie Peters Allen, who he married December 5, 1964; his sisters, Korine Allen of Albion, Pa, Martha (Francis) Pavolko of Celina, OH and Margo Wilson of Albion, Pa; his brothers, Keith Allen of Grand Valley, Pa, Kevin (Emma) Allen and Craig (Roxanne) Allen both of Warren, Pa; several nieces and nephews and his furry companion, Max.

In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Allen, an infant brother and his dog, Razzle.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 28, at 1:00 pm at the Swedish Union Cemetery, Swede Road, Tidioute, Pa 16351 with the Rev. Donald Wells, officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Warren County at hospiceofwarrencounty.org or to the Starbrick VFD, 5 Fireman St, Warren, Pa 16365.
