Bradley W. Salva Obituary
Bradley W. Salva, 73, of Youngsville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at his residence.
He was born on November 12, 1948, to the late Milan and Ada Salva in Mt. Vernon, OH. After he graduated from Fredericktown High School, Brad went on to graduate from Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. He spent 40+ years working in the lumber industry in various positions. He was a true naturalist as he loved spending time outdoors, whether it was gardening, fishing, hiking or kayaking. Brad watched for the returning swallows and bluebirds each year. He built bluebird houses and shared that knowledge and passion with his neighbors and friends over the years. Another one of his passions was raising English Setters, and pigeons and grouse for training. He always was compassionate, believed in kindness, maybe a little bit shy, but was always willing to help anyone out and share information and knowledge he had. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Brad is survived by his wife, Linda, and their children, Eric (Gera) Salva of Longmont, CO, and Kyle Salva of Starbrick, PA; 5 grandchildren; 5 brothers; 4 sisters; many nieces and nephews; and his special companion, Tinker the Cat.
In addition to his parents, Brad was preceded in death by one brother.
A Celebration of Life and a time to share memories will be held at the home of Tom and Linda Sivak, 2400 Brown Hill Rd. Youngsville, PA anytime from 1-5 pm on Sunday, July 24, 2022.
