Bruce Dumont Obituary
Bruce William Dumont, 71, of 2454 Murray HillRoad, Youngsville, passed
away suddenly on Monday, Oct.18, 2021.
Bruce was born on May 29, 1950, to William and Shirley Cooper Dumont,
who awaited him in heaven. He was married to Lyn Mclasham who proceed him in death in
1975. On May 30, 1980 in Sarasota, Fla., Bruce married Sandra âSandyã Rex and her daughters: Sherri and Tracey. They owned and operated Sandy’s Fine Finishes from 1985-2014
when they retired, moving to Pennsylvania to take care of Sandy’s mother. Bruce was honorably
discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1975, after serving in Vietnam. He was an avid animal lover, bowler and enjoyed golf, but his true love was the beaches in Sarasota.
Bruce was proceeded in death by his daughters: Sherri and Tracey.
Bruce is survived by his wife Sandy; three brothers: Wallace and Tammy Dumont, Bryant and Joan Dumont, Clint and Kristi Dumont; three sisters: Lana and Bill Wescott, Kimberly and Joel Estabrook, Cindy and Nathan Collette, all of Upper State New York. At Bruces request, there
will be no services. He will be reunited with his beloved beaches and ocean.
