Chris Fehlman, 72, of Youngsville, PA, passed away on February 7, 2026 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA.

She was born in Port Allegheny, PA on December 03, 1953, a daughter to the late Fred and Ruth (Rickert) Hemingway. Chris was a waitress for many years, worked as a tax preparer, and at a children home in Youngsville  Her greatest passion was providing for the needs of her late husband, Ron Fehlman and being the caregiver for her granddaughter, Alexis Welch. 

She is survived by her daughter, Samantha Skinner of Sugar Grove and her son, Michael Hemingway of CA, her brother, Fred Hemingway of Pittsburgh, her sisters, Kim (Bill) Graham of Bradford and Shirley (Jeff) Pecora of Lewistown, PA, her brother-in-law, Paul Barnstorf of Hamburg, NY, her beloved granddaughter, Alexis Welch and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Chris was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Fehlman, her daughter, Abigail Skinner, her sister, Roberta “Bobbie” Barnstorf and her former husband Charles (Chooch) Skinner.

A private graveside will take place in Foster Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
