Dale W. McKinney

Dale W. McKinney, 73, of Youngsville, Pa, passed away on Saturday evening, November 12, 2022 at the Rouse Home in Youngsville.

He was born on July 2, 1949, in Jamestown, NY, a son to the late Arthur and Rachel (Firth) McKinney. After graduating from Eisenhower High School, Dale served in the US Army. He was a hard working farmer and logger all of his life and also worked in the oil fields for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sitting around the “round table” with his buddies at New Beginnings Family Restaurant in Sugar Grove.

Dale is survived by his children, Lisa Brooks, of Chincoteague, VA, Michael McKinney and Gregory McKinney, both of Warren and Angela (Dustin) Craker of Youngsville; a sister, Patty of Nova Scotia; his grandchildren, Cristian and Michelle Card, Piper and Haley Brooks, Lane and Lianna Craker and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Kysor) McKinney in 2017; a son-in-law, Raymond Brooks; his mother-in-law, Cecil Kysor and 2 brothers, Fred and Keith McKinney.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
