Daniel E. Paden

Daniel E. Paden, 65, of Pittsfield, Pa, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at his home.

He was born on March 3, 1957, in Titusville, Pa, a son to the late Howard Paden and Pauline (Sedina) Paden who survives him of Grand Valley. Daniel worked at Blair for many years. He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, cooking with new recipes, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and golfing with his grandson. He loved animals, especially his dog and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Amy Paden; his sons, Jeremy Paden of Pittsfield and Jason (Erin) Paden of Erie; his siblings, Howard Paden of Grand Valley, Rose Savitz of Grand Valley and John Gallagher of Jamestown; 2 grandsons, 4 granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, October 31, from 11am-12pm at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main Street, Youngsville, Pa 16371. A graveside service will be held following the visitation at the Newton Sanford Cemetery, Rt 27, Pittsfield, Pa, 16340, at 12:30pm with the Rev. Penny Helmbold, pastor of the Grand Valley United Methodist Church, officiating.
