Dawn Smith, 57, of Bear Lake, PA, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at UPMC Hamot Hospital.

She was born in Warren, PA on October 1, 1967, a daughter to the late James and Elizabeth (McCloskey) Jones. Dawn valued her faith and the relationship she had with her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed kayaking, gardening and crafting, but most of all, she enjoyed anything that gathered her family together.

Dawn is survived by her children, Elizabeth Jones and her fiancé, Jameson Shepherd, Jeremy Jones, Heather Smith, Matthew (Courtney) Smith and Melanie (Aaron) Quiggle; her grandchildren, Kaleb & Jakob Salerno, Jameson Jr., Tristan & Emily Shepherd, Hadley & Lennox Smith, Jace Jones, McKenna, Elijah, Emmett & Maverick Quiggle, Memphis & Lyric Bryant & Soul Smith; her sisters, Debra Dale & Tina Terry; her brothers, Robert (Gail) Jones & Shawn Jones; many nieces and nephews as well as her loving dog, Noah and cat, Biff.

In addition to her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Jones and her best friend, Sherry Fisher..

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th at Praise Fellowship, 7451 Market St, Russell, PA 16345, from 10-11am at which time a memorial service will be held.
