Deborah Teresa Gorton, 69, of Youngsville, passed away on November 23, 2025 at Warren General Hospital

Debbie was born in Corry, PA on May 18, 1956, a daughter to the late Orlando “Orly” and Betty (Robbins) Papalia. She worked at Blair for many years before she retired and went to work for Targeted Pet Treats. Debbie made a lot of friends while working at TPT and enjoyed the time she spent there even though it was “work”. She also loved taking care of and spending time with her dog, Bean. 

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Brandi Gorton of Warren, a brother, Joseph (Judy) Papalia of Warren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jay M. Gorton, her sister, Veronica Rogers and good friend, Lynn Schwab-VanGuilder.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St, Youngsville, PA 16371, from 11am-1pm.
