Diana M. (Dobbs) Young

Diana M. Young, 83, of Youngsville, PA, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the Warren Manor.

She was born on May 6, 1939 in Warren, a daughter to the late Felix and Verna (Lawson) Dobbs. Diana was a 1956 graduate of Warren Area High School and enjoyed meeting with her classmates regularly. She worked as an executive secretary at the National Forge in Irvine, PA for many years until she started a new title there as a metallurgist. Diana and her husband, Ron, enjoyed boating years ago when they lived on Chautauqua Lake. They also did and extensive amount of travel throughout the world. After both Diana and Ron retired from the National Forge, they started Rondivue Consulting. 

Diana is survived by her husband, Ronald Young, of Youngsville; 3 children, Mark (Betty) Hansen of Port Orange, FL, Laurie (Roger) Trescott of South Dakota and Linda Hansen of Youngsville; a brother, Dale Dobbs of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Jamie (Ricky) Figueroa, Autumn (Brody) Oldfield, Megan Trescott, John Proukou and Jesse (Andrew) Albatrosov; her great-grandchildren, Allison, Samantha, Jasmin, Tailynn, Avyre, Kymber, Elynore, Shawn, Noah, Mila, Misha and Kolya.

In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her siblings, Joan Lucia, Marilyn Simonsen, Bobby Dobbs, Bill Dobbs and and an infant brother, Gayle Dobbs.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 13th from 1-4pm at Island Park in Youngsville.
