Donald C. Gesin, 63, of Tidioute, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at his home.

He was born on May 27, 1962 in Warren, PA, a son to the late Charles W. Gesin and Elizabeth M. (Bliss) Gesin, who survives him of Tidioute. Donald worked at various lumber mills as well as Asplundh Tree Service. He loved to hunt, fish and fix anything that had a motor in it but, most of all, he enjoyed being surrounded by his family and close friends.

In addition to his mother, Donald is survived by 2 daughters, Alisha McCall and her husband, Jonathan McCall and their 5 children and Patti Jo Vargason, her husband, Jesse Peterson, and their 5 children; his sister, Kimberly Kollar; his brothers, Daniel “Boone” Gesin, Dennis (Nancy) Gesin, Darrell Gesin, and David (Pam) Gesin as well as many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Donald Charles “Jake” Gesin Jr.; his nephew, Dereck Gesin; his brother-in-law, Robert Kollar and his granddaughter, Izzy Peterson.
