Donald L. Jackson, 89, of Youngsville, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Penn Highlands Hospital in Brookville, PA.
Don was born on February 29, 1936, in Youngsville, a son of the late Paul and Geraldine (Potter) Jackson. He served in the US Army and owned and operated Jackson Motors in Youngsville for many years where he was known as “Action Jackson”. Don was a member of the Youngsville American Legion Post #658, the Stillwater Lodge F&AM #547, the Kiwanis Club and the Brokenstraw Fish & Game Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4wheeling, canoeing and camping.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Marsha (Bouchard) Jackson, two sisters, Judy Nowak of Warren and Joann (Willie) Kellogg of Spring Creek, a sister-in-law Joanne Gourley Jackson of Sugar Grove as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Denny and Robert Jackson
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th at 11am at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Dr. Joe McGarry, officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The Stillwater Lodge will conduct a Masonic Ritual at 10:45 and the Youngsville American Legion will provide full military honors.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Paws Along the River Humane Society, 212 Elm Street, Warren, PA 16365 or to the Brokenstraw Fish and Game Club, PO Box 143, Youngsville, PA 16371 or to St. Francis of Assis Church.
