Dorothy (Zurkan) Davis

Dorothy Davis, 85, of Sugar Grove, PA, passed away on March 12, 2025 at the Rouse Warren County Home.

She was born on December 16, 1939, a daughter to the late Michael and Mary (Fedorchuk) Zurkan Sr. Dorothy was a hard worker all of her life. She grew up on the family farm where she spent a lot of time and also worked for 38+ years as a machine operator at Webber Knapp. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and taking the neighbor kids around on her golf cart. Dorothy made wonderful fudge and liked to go out for ice cream.

She is survived by her brother, Michael (Karen) Zurkan Jr. of Warren; her sister, Mary Waud of TX; her nieces and nephews, April (Mike) Craft, Michael J. Zurkan, Christine (Colin) Aherne and Daniel (Megan) Zurkan and her 3 step-children, Richard, Denise and Randy.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Davis.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 10am at the Wesleyan Cemetery on Route 957 in Sugar Grove.
