Erik R. Penley, 46, of Sugar Grove, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at his home.

He was born on February 15, 1979 in Warren, PA, a son to the late James and Linda (Daniels) Penley Sr. Erik worked in many business endeavors, loved horticulture, and eventually started his own business, Penley's Paintball Playground which he was very proud to bring an outdoor activity lacking in the local community. As a uncle, he loved hanging out with his many nieces and nephews and sharing his love of movies and other entertainment with his larger than life personality.

He is survived by his brothers, James R. (Debra) Penley Jr. of Sugar Grove, Steven E. (Dena) Penley of Warren and Adam Penley of Warren and his nieces & nephews, Hayden Morse, Paige & Carter Penley, Amber, Caleb, Rebecca & Logan Penley.

A celebration of life will be held on September 27th at the Penley family property on Old State Rd, Sugar Grove, PA at 6pm.
