Floris “Flo” D. Grove, 75, of Corry, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, after a long battle with cancer, with family by her side.

She was born in Warren, PA on February 16, 1949 a daughter to the late Robert Whittemore and Floris (Bennett) Schell. Flo resided in Warren most of her life. She graduated from Warren High School in 1967 and from Jamestown Community College. She worked for the Warren YMCA pre-school and later for the WCSD as a Teachers Aide.

Flo studied dance in New York City, Chautauqua NY and Pittsburgh and Taught dance at Linda Dies Dance Studio for eighteen years. She loved dancing Zumba with her CA friends.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas O’Steen, her daughter, Jennifer Sponaugle; her grandchildren, Grady and Teagan; a step-son, Cameron O’Steen; a sister, Robin (Dave) Taydus and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Flo was preceded by her sister, Andrea Beane.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th from 12-3pm at the D&R Transportation Garage, 13639 W. Smith St, Corry, PA 16407.
