Gage Hendrickson, 20, of Irvine, passed away January 6th, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown, OH, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Gage was born on January 7, 2003, to Carrie (Rigby) and Brian Hendrickson. He was the Salutatorian of his 2020 Youngsville High School graduating class, where he also excelled at basketball. Gage then went on to attend Westminster College, where he played basketball his Freshman and Sophmore year and was currently in his Senior year.  He also worked at the Rouse Suites as a med-tech during his summer breaks, and enjoyed refereeing basketball games.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dean Hendrickson and Sandy Ostrander; an Uncle Eric Hendrickson; and cousins Logan Morrison and Sam Hendrickson.

In addition to his parents, Gage is survived by his brothers Koby Hendrickson of Irvine and Devin Hendrickson of Youngsville; his maternal grandparents Mary Ransom and step grandpa Paul Ransom; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and the Bower family, who was truly a second family to him.

Gage enjoyed playing basketball, hanging out with the "fellas", playing golf, and watching sports.  He was a bright light in the world and loved so much by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12th from 4:00 - 7:00pm and an hour before a funeral service on Saturday, January 13th 3:00 PM, at the Youngsville Free Methodist Church, 179 Davis St. Youngsville, with the Pastor Nancy Schwanke officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
