Genevieve F. Knapp Obituary

Genevieve F. Knapp, 100, of Youngsville, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024 after a brief rehab at Warren Manor.


She was born in Youngsville on October 21, 1923, a daughter to the late Cloyd and Flossie (Coleman) Rulman. She attended Youngsville High School and was employed at GTE Sylvania. She worked in many departments and was a plastic quality inspector. She belonged to the Quarter Century Club when she retired.


Genevieve loved her family and enjoyed many visits to NC and great excursions in and around CO. She was so excited and so enjoyed her 100th birthday celebrations.


She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Scott) Jenkinson of Warren; her grandson, Robert Young of CO; her granddaughter, Mia (John) Smith of NC; her step-granddaughter, Leslie (Andy) Cusimano of NY; her great-granddaughters, Tabitha (Zack) Kington of NC, Melissa (Andrew) Hancock of NC and Caitlin (Andrew) Lamb of WV as well as 5 great-great-grandchildren.


In addition to her parents, Genevieve was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Glenn, Frank & Herman Ruhlman, an infant brother, her sister, Mabel Ruhlman Stokes and her son, Dennis Knapp.


A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.


Memorial donations may be made to the Youngsville Ambulance Service, 29 Fireman Dr., Youngsville, PA 16371.
