Glenn L Anderson Obituary

Glenn L. Anderson of Youngsville PA passed away at home on December 14, 2025 with his wife and daughters by his side.


Glenn was born and raised in Youngsville, and was a 1958 graduate of Youngsville High School. He continued his education at Fenn College (now Cleveland State College), joined the National Guard and then chose to return to Youngsville to begin his career as a Certified Public Accountant.  He became a partner at Coates, Way, and Anderson Public Accounting firm in Warren PA, where he worked for 40 years. Glenn was a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Warren Kiwanis Club, Masonic Stillwater Lodge  in Youngsville, PA, and the American Legion Post 658.


He is survived by his wife, Cathy; daughters Catrina (Erik) Leamon, Heidi First (Andy Perrin), Hollie (Richard) Casey, and Anneleise (Justin) Smith.  Grampa Glenn is also survived by Elliyanna, Max, Bailey, Lex, Grace, Nate, Simion, Charlotte, Solomon, and Killian.  He also leaves behind sisters Bonnie Anderson, Connie (Kerry) Ozer, and several nieces and nephews.


Visiting hours will be at Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 North Main St, Youngsville PA on Thursday, December 18, from 4 to 6PM, with a Masonic Service at 5:30PM. A private burial will be held at Warren County Memorial Park on Friday with the Youngsville American Legion Honor Guard providing full military honors. 


In remembrance of Glenn’s life, the family asks that charitable donations be made to Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave, Warren PA 16365, or a charity of your choice.
