Jack Wills Jr. Obituary

Jack A. Wills Jr., 56, of Warren, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at UPMC Hamot in Erie.

He was born on August 12, 1967, in Warren, a son to the late Judith (Larson) Wills and Jack A. Wills Sr., who survives him of Irvine, PA. Jack was a 1986 graduate of Bradford High School. He worked at his family business in Warren, Wills Builders his whole life. He also was the Captain of the Hammer Time Fishing Charters on primarily Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.

Jack was a Pennsylvania mountain child, he loved everything outdoors; skiing, deer hunting, water sports and of course fishing. He loved people and treated everyone with respect and kindness.  As a child he could be found making repairs to children's bicycles so they could all ride.  He was an avid builder extraordinaire and nothing pleased him more than helping people.

Coming from a family of generations of alcohol dependency he struggled in his earlier life.  He turned it around and used his recovery to share his experience, strength and hope to help others, and volunteering at Warren county jail until his passing.

In 2014 Jack took over the leadership role of Wills Builders and enjoyed making customers' dreams become reality.  In 2020 he fulfilled one of his lifetime dreams by becoming "Captain Jack" of Hammer Time Charters of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.

In addition to his father, Jack is survived by his sister, Keri (Jeremy) Baribeau of Warren, his beloved significant other, Jody Fitch, of Warren, his boys, Nathan and Conner Shultz, his nieces and nephews, Joce (Katelyn) Nellis, Cheyanne (Jeremy) Main, Jayden Nellis, Malone and Maguire Arzner, a great niece, Jaclyn, a great nephew, Brantley and his pupper nupper, Chloe.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher M. Wills.
