James Stuart

James “Jamie” Stuart Sr. 75, of Chandlers Valley, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Saint Vincent Hospital, Erie. 

He was born on November 30, 1946 in Jamestown, NY., to the late Bertina and John R, Stuart. James was employed by Allied Security at the United Refining in Warren. He enjoyed gardening, watching NASCAR and his favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers. James was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Eagles Club, and was a lifetime member of the Sugar Grove Fire Dept.

James is survived by his daughters Sue Stuart of Warren, Mattie Knight and her companion Matt Munn of Sugar Grove, and Samantha Stuart and her fiance Will Vibbert of Russell; step daughters Edys(Wally) Neall of Russell, Holly(Robert)Lee of Richmond, VA, Michelle Wilson and companion Tom Chittester of Warren; step-son Richard Wilson and companion Patty Malone of Warren; grandchildren Kenny (Nikki) Stuart, Haleigh Stuart, Sophia Stuart and Amari Stuart; great grandchildren Renia Marie and Isabelle Sue; many step-grandchildren and step- great grandchildren

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife Martha “Marion” Wimer Stuart in November of 2019; a son James Stuart Jr. ; brothers John R. Stuart II, Terry Stuart Sr. ; sister Sarah Fox; and granddaughter Angella(Daniel)Stuart.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date, burial will also take place at a later date in Chandlers Valley Cemetery.
