Jane F. Eriksen, 92, of Youngsville, went to be with her lord and Savior Jesus on Thursday, May 19th, 2022. She had been a resident at the Rouse Warren County Home for many years.
Jane was born in Warren at the then named Warren Maternity Hospital in Warren on August 16, 1929; the daughter of the late Roy and Flora(Kay)McDowell.
After graduating from Youngsville High School in 1948, she went on to Philadelphia, PA., where she attended the Wilson School of Radiology and also the Philadelphia Conservatory of Music for Piano.
On June 30th, 1954, she married Leslie L. Eriksen at Saron Lutheran Church in Youngsville, where she later became a member. She became a homemaker and mother but was active in many neighborhood drives such as the American Cancer Society Fund and the March of Dimes. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Barber Shopper Wives and the Youngsville High School Teachers wives.
Jane is survived by her daughters; Cheryl Jordan of Sugar Grove, Tracey Crane of Erie, and Michelle Dolak of Lebannon, PA. Also survived by 4 grandchildren Emilie Frazier(Jamie)Aguilera of San Antonio, TX, Zachory Frazier of Wasilla, AK, Ashley Nelson of Scranton, PA, and Davey Crane of Irwin, PA; and 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by her death Leslie Eriksen; and infant brother, Frank McDowell; a sister Naomi Randinelli; a daughter Cathleen Eriksen; and a grandson, Leslie Crane.
Friends and family may call on Thursday, May 26th from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the Nelson Funeral Home in Youngsville. A funeral service will be held there on Friday, May 27th at 11:00am, with the Rev. Nancy Schwanke, officiating. Burial will follow in the Youngsville Cemetery.
