Jay P. Arden, 60, of Warren, Pa., passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital, Erie.
He was born November 11, 1960 to Clifford O. Arden and Deloris Applegate Munroe in Waterloo, NY. Jay did maintenance at a homeless shelter and was a fun loving guy who got along with everyone. He enjoyed playing the drums, dressing as a clown for parties, but his favorite thing to do was dress as Santa for Christmas. He was also a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Army.
Jay is survived by his wife Paula Jones-Arden, his mother Deloris and step-father Richard Munroe, 6 siblings Doris (Tim Page) Catching, Barbara (Bryan) Penworth, Debbie (Bill) Leaman, Carl (Samantha) Arden, Ray Arden, Bill (Hazel) Arden; his four sons, Brett Arden, Kori Arden, Arik Arden, Jaden Arden; 2 step-children William (Loretta) Jones, Jessica (John) Jones; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford O. Arden, his grandmother, Mary Applegate and a son, Robbie Arden.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am Thursday, November 4th at the Youngsville Free Methodist Church with the Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor, officiating.
