JoAnne (Frank) Anderson

JoAnne Anderson, 74, of Sugar Grove, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. She was an angel on Earth and now she is an angel in Heaven.

She was born on October 16, 1949, a daughter to the late Horton and Agnes (Richards) Frank. JoAnne worked at many jobs, but her greatest joy was when she was caring, helping, and giving to others as she genuinely cared for people. 

JoAnne is survived by her long time companion,  Richard Hartley, her children, Dawn (Bruce) Williams, Herbert (MeLissa) Anderson, Tracy (Matthew) Shaffer and Bobbie-Jo (Stephen) Rafalski,  her siblings, James Frank, Michael Frank, Anthony (Tammy) Foust, Connie (Alfonzo) Caudillo,  Ronnie Bolin, Wayne Foust, her grandchildren, Nicole (Adam) Skrzypczak, Amber (Bryan) Fisher, Shelby (Zach) Spinks, Kelsey Anderson, Jesse Shaffer, Ellianna Shaffer and Izaac Chido, her great grandchildren, Madison Cook, Philip Skrzypczak, George Fisher, Bryce, Brayden, and Isabella Spinks and Anthony Cameron.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Anderson, and a brother, Benjamin Baxley.

In her spare time JoAnne enjoyed traveling to see her grandchildren and great grandchildrens' events. She loved to bake, crochet, and spoil her family. To be in JoAnne's presence was to be in the presence of love.  She was kind to everyone whether she knew you or not as she never met a stranger.  

Friends and family will be received on Sunday April 28th from 1-3pm at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.  314 North Main St. Youngsville, PA.  A short service will be held there at 3pm officiated by Kris Seastedt.

The family suggests memorial donations may be made to a local charity of your choice, or through a random act of kindness.
