John Long Obituary
John R. Long, 67, of Youngsville, Pa, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 at his home.
He was born on January 22, 1954 in Corry, Pa, a son to the late John and Dorothy (Schrader) Long. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Sugar Grove AMVETS. John leaves behind many friends and companions that shared his passion for deer and coyote hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Sondra Long; his children, John Long Jr. and Crystal Tanner; his grandchildren, Zack Long and George and Karsyn Tanner; his brothers, James and Robert Sutton and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry and his sister, Jackie.
Per John’s wishes, no services will be held.
