John H. Perrin, 78, of Warren, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie.
He was born on November 20, 1947, in Pittsfield, a son to the late Reeder and Florence (Morris) Perrin. John enlisted in the US Army and served form 1969-1972. He was a log truck driver for himself for many years. He enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, tractor pulling and dirt track racing at Stateline Speedway. John loved to spend time with his family and will be deeply missed.
John is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, April (Johnson) Perrin, of Warren, his children, John (Brenda) Perrin Jr. of N.C., Todd (Lindsay) Perrin of Corry, Scott (Nola) Perrin of Panama, NY and Heather Cressley of Warren, his grandchildren, Marissa, Nicole, Dakota, Mark, John, Toby, Rose, Shaunna and Kyle, 4 great-grandchildren, a sister, Joyce Lord of Pittsfield as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Linville and his brothers, William, Charles, Richard and James Perrin.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6th at 11am at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main Street, Youngsville, PA 16371, with the Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor of the Youngsville Free Methodist Church, officiating. The Youngsville American Legion Honor Guard will provide full military honors.
