John A. Shirley

John A. Shirley, 59, of Youngsville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie.

He was born in Warren, PA on June 8, 1965, a son to the late Edgar Shirley and Dorothy (French) Rounds who survives him of Warren. When he was able, John enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a collector of knives and guns and a survivalist, always making ammo and candles.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Shirley, who he married on October 29, 1988, his children, Danielle Stewart and her companion, Jesse, of Youngsville, Adrienne Shirley and her companion, Justin, of Jamestown and Derrick Shirley; his brothers, Freeman Shirley of Jamestown and Gilbert Shirley of Youngsville; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his father, John was preceded on death by his brothers, Edgar and Raymond Shirley.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
