Judi Eastman, 77, of Youngsville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the Rouse Warren County Home, Youngsville, following an extended illness.
She was born on June 29, 1945, in Franklin, PA, to the late George and Faye (Amsler) Elslager. Judi loved gardening and was an excellent cook and baker, especially pies, which is ironic she passed away on ‘Pi’ day. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Judi is survived by her children, Gary (Lisa) West of Sugar Grove, Scott (Brenda) West of Washington, PA, Julie Luther of Spring Creek, Shawna Eastman of Cranberry Township, PA and Michael (Julie) Eastman of Youngsville; her siblings, Alberta Baumgardner of Youngsville, Wanda Weigle of OH, Sandy (Joe) Titch of Corry, PA, Jim (Marie) Eslager of Corry, PA; her grandchildren, Amanda (Jeff) Moore, Brittany (Devon) Lauger, Taylor (Cade Hefferman) West, Kayla West, Riley West, Ashley (Derrek) Hopper, Blake Myers, Jada Myers, Chase Myers and Parker Eastman; 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion of almost 30 years, Myron Nelson in January 2023; her brothers, Richard, Darwin, Dee and Michael Elslager and her sister, Linda Kalika.
A celebration of Judi’s life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 2-4pm at the Youngsville American Legion, Post 658, 10 North Main St, Youngsville, PA 16371.
