Keith Bartel

Keith Bartel, 57, of Youngsville, Pa, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.

He was born in North Tonawanda, NY, on August 8, 1964, a son to the late David K. Bartel and Sharon M. (Goodrich) Patrick who survives him of Pittsfield, Pa. Keith worked at Ellwood Crankshaft as a maintenance technician. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and loved being ‘Papa’. He also had many friends. He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed his time outside, usually smoking something for dinner.

Keith is also survived by his wife, Holly (McFarland) Bartel; his ‘Pops’, John Patrick, of Pittsfield, Pa; his children, Robert Bartel of Warren, Pa, Kristy Wiegand and her husband, Micah of Spokane, WA and Laurel Mikich and her husband, Nick, of Las Vegas, NV; his step-children, Chad Durstine and his wife, Danielle of Youngsville, Pa and Taylor Domer and her husband, Erin of Warren, Pa; his grandchildren, Corbin and Orion Bartel and Charlie and Elec Domer; his brothers, Kevin Bartel and his wife, Toni, of Celina, TX and Scott Bartel of Lockport, NY, and his nieces, Ashley and Samantha. 

In addition to his father, Keith was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Tressa and Maurice Goodrich and his paternal grandparents, Ruth and Carl Bartel.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, August 8, at the Youngsville Free Methodist Church, 179 Davis St. Youngsville, Pa 16371, from 4-7pm at which time a funeral service will be held there with the Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor, officiating.
