Kevin Yeversky Obituary

Kevin P. Yeversky, 63, of Sugar Grove, PA, died Feb. 2, 2022 at UPMC Hamot following a severe stroke.

He was born on Oct. 8, 1958 in Warren, PA, the son of the late James P. and Lillie A. (Reihard) Yeversky. A 1976 graduate of Eisenhower HS, Kevin worked for most of his career at Marlin Rockwell/SKF, retiring 10 years ago.

Kevin enjoyed hunting and watching nature on the family property. He was a gifted artist, photographer and mechanic who loved building and working on race cars with local dirt track drivers. From a distance, Kevin advised racers around the country on their car set-ups. Kevin was quick to help family, friends and neighbors in any way he could.

Kevin is survived by his siblings Sharon (Chip) Taylor of Willow, AK, Dee Dee Morgan, Nicholasville, KY, Susan Mock, Warren, PA, Martha (Paul) Cathcart, Russell, PA, and Mark (Karen) Yeversky, Jamestown, NY. Also survived by nieces and nephews Juliana Sontheimer, Ryan (Kim) Lucas, Chara (Russell) Renfro, Rahna (Jay) Nelson, Travis (Mandy) Morgan, Kevin (Audra) Morgan, Laura Morgan, Heather (Derek) Mock-Stewart, James Mock, Shelley (Jeff) Lewis, P.J. (Michelle) Cathcart, Zachary Cathcart, Kyle (Mikaela) Yeversky, Kira Yeversky, Jordan Yeversky, and numerous great-nieces and nephews, Anthony, Koen, Eilan, Colton, Bradley, Noel, Isaac, Hunter, Connor, Ryan, Sammy, Vinnie, Joanna, Matthew, Madison, Lilly, and Harrison.

Kevin will be greatly missed by his other “family”, the racing community. Those friends and their families were such an important part of his life.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
