Knuten A. Callahan, 81, of Warren, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at his home.
He was born in Warren on November 23, 1943, a son to the late Dennis and Gaynell (Strane) Callahan. Knuten drove truck for many companies and as an owner/operator over the last 50+ years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his friends and he loved fast cars. His favorite hobbies included watching races, shooting guns and drinking his coffee. Family was important to Knuten and he cherished the time he was able to spend with his grandsons.
Knuten is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Diane Callahan, who he married on March 4, 1967 in Warren; his daughter, Tami (James) Fitzhenry of Buffalo; his sister, Mary Sheets of Warren; his grandsons, Seamus (Maddie), Ian (Lindsey) and Sean Fitzhenry; his great-granddaughter, Aurora and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Knuten was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Richard Callahan and a sister-in-law, Nancy Callahan.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
