Lewis H. Stockhausen, 80, of Bear Lake, PA, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at home, surrounded by family.
He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on July 27, 1942 to the late Lewis and June (Weber) Stockhausen. Upon graduation from high school, Lewis served in the United States Marine Corps until 1969. After his service, He attended the University of Akron and then went on to work for PennDot in various rolls over the years. Lewis enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, and going for walks around his community.
Lewis is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Judy; his children, Jackie (David) Wood of Warren, PA and Lewis Stockhausen and his fiancé, Tracey Swanson, of Jamestown, NY; his grandchildren, Alyssa (Dakota) Nadolny of Jamestown, NY, Dylyn Stockhausen (Sean Barton) of Corry, PA and Philip Wood of Warren, PA and a sister, Donna Scherer of Streetsboro, OH.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 4-7pm at the Nelson Funeral and Cremation Services, 314 North Main St. Youngsville, PA 16371. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
