Linda L. Cristea, 76 of Warren, PA, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025 at her son’s residence in Youngsville, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

She was born March 3, 1949 in Erie, PA, to the late Robert and Eileen (Lauer) Work. Linda was a former cub scout and girl scout leader in her earlier life.  She enjoyed gardening, loved giving St. Patrick Day parties, hosting gathering’s in Englewood, FL with friends, playing Majong, collecting shells at the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Cristopher (Karrie) Cristea of Warren, Melissa Hale of LaGrange, GA, Sebastian Cristea and his companion, Lisa Beeman, of Youngsville; her siblings, Janet (Chuck) Gillies of Erie, Robert (Paul) Work of Palmetto, FL, Jeffrey (Nancy) Work of Florence, KY, Mark (Beth) Work of Knightdale, NC and Daniel Work of Portland, OR; her grandchildren, Joseph, Jordan, Cassie, Lauren, Maggie, Arbor and Aspen; her great grandchildren, Emma, Avery, Fox, Charlie and Lyla as well as her dearest friend, Myrna Carlson-Bowman and her daughters, Makala (Ronnie) Kelly and Desirae (Gaven) Havle whom were like granddaughters to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Cristea, who she married May 12, 1969.

The family conducted a private service.
