Lora L. Devine Breon, 61, of Grand Valley, Pa, passed away on September 11, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pa.
Lorie was born in Jamestown, NY on April 18, 1961, a daughter to the late Barbara Chapman Burleigh and Charles Devine. Moving to the Grand Valley area at the young age of two, she was raised by her mother and step-father, Casey Burleigh. Lorie grew up attending the Grand Valley United Methodist Church and was a member of the Grand Valley Girls Scouts Troop 436 for many years. Lorie attended Youngsville High School. She was a caregiver for many years and enjoyed spending time with her family, going for rides and listening to country music.
On April 20, 1985, Lorie married Stephen Breon and began her many years of being a Navy wife. After Steve’s retirement from the US Navy, Lorie and her family returned to the Grand Valley area to continue raising their children.
She is survived by her loving husband, Steve, her sons, Jason Pattison (Jessica) and Stephen Jr., both of Youngsville; her daughters, Sara Pattison (David Gorniak) of Youngsville and Amanda Proctor (David Leonardo) of Grand Valley; 11 grandchildren, including Jason Pattison Jr. (Isadora), whom she raised since he was a baby; a great-granddaughter due next month that she was so anxious to meet; her sisters, Vicki Mason (Ric), Sharon Crick (Dave Huber), both of Youngsville, Diane Williams (Gerry) and Susan Spetz of Grand Valley as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and step father, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Chapman and a sister, Amy Jo Burleigh.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17, at 1pm at the Grand Valley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ryan Luebbert, officiating.
