Lucas Robert Rex, 42, of Grand Valley, PA., passed away on Friday, April 7,2023, at his home.


Born on June 23, 1980 in Anchorage, AK, he was in the service and worked as a machinist for


most of his life. Luke loved to be around people whether it was making them laugh or cooking


them up something to eat. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, kayaking, or any other


crazy adventure he could think of.


His nieces were very special to him. He loved taking them for walks, and harassing them, he


also enjoyed teaching them about animals especially baby racoons.


Luke is survived by his maternal grandmother Phyllis Graham of Titusville PA, and his parents,


David and karen Rex of Grand Valley PA, and Fred Utegg of Youngsville PA; his siblings JoLee


(Isaac) Wencil of Hydetown, PA, Sara (Patrick) Conklin of N Salt Lake, UT; his nieces Mya,


Jayda, and Audrey Wencil, and Rexie, Regina, and Freya Conklin. A paternal grandfather Carl


Utegg of IL, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.


He is proceeded in death by maternal grandfather Robert Graham, Paternal grandparents Fred


and Norma Rex, Jan Redick, and Corky Utegg.


A private memorial will be held at a later date. Condolences may be made to the family at
