Marian R. Coy

Marian R. Coy (Nan), 88, of Irvine, PA, passed away on Monday, May 9th, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving grandchildren. 

She was born on May 17, 1933 to the late Florence and Elmer Barger in Spangler, PA.  Marian worked for 10 years at the Warren State Hospital, then for 30 years at Sylvania in Warren as a machine operator.  She loved knitting and spending time with her two grandkids, as well as several neighborhood kids that had adopted her as their own. 

Marian is survived by her two sons, Duane Coy of Fallon, NV and Mark Coy of Youngsville, PA; her granddaughter Krystal Champagne of Buffalo, NY and her grandson, Dylan Coy of Warren, PA, and brother John Barger (Helen) of Dover, Delaware.

In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Coy, her daughter Deanne Champagne, sisters Jean Johns and Ruth Hoeneise, brothers Glenn Barger and Meade (Patti) Barger of Frenchville, PA, Harry Barger of Westfield, NY and Frank Barger of Newport News, VA.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday May 15, 2022 from at the Nelson Funeral Home in Youngsville from 1-4pm, at which time a memorial service will be held withe the Rev. Dorothy Hilliard, pastor of Warren County Hospice officiating.
