Martha Seleni, 96, of Sugar Grove, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Warren Manor.

She was born on March 15, 1928 in Sheffield, PA, a daughter to the late John and Anna (Novak) Labesky Sr.  She was raised in Sheffield and after graduation from Sheffield High School, she rode the train back and forth from work at Warren General Hospital. Martha then met her husband, John Seleni, and eventually ended up in Sugar Grove, PA. Her and her husband, John, enjoyed fishing under the Kinzua Bridge as well as hunting. They also enjoyed traveling by train to Las Vegas to see her daughter's family. She loved the time she got to spend with all of her grandchildren. Martha was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Youngsville and was a devout Catholic.

She is survived by her children, Joan (Steve) Martin of Las Vegas, NV, Gerald (Debbie) Seleni of Tupperlake, NY, Patricia (Virgil) Spicer of Russell, PA and Christine (Dan) Ralston of Youngsville; a brother, John Labesky Jr. of Sheffield, PA; 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Seleni; her grandson, Kyle Seleni and her siblings, Donald Labesky, Katharine Yasurek, Mary Piehuta, Julia Poe, Eva Steffan, and Joan Carr.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Warren, PA.
