Martha J. (Lowmiller) Walters

Martha J. Walters, 86, of Tidioute, Pa, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on December 2, 2021.

She was born on March 22, 1935 in Williamsport, Pa, a daughter to the late Charles and Ida (Krieger) Lowmiller. Martha was an avid member of the Tidioute Presbyterian Church, the Tidioute Senior Citizen Center as well as the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She had so much personality and was known for her spontaneous acts and love for adventure. Martha was the matriarch of her family and always loved family gatherings and cookouts. She also enjoyed watching the birds and taking care of her flowers. 

Martha is survived by her a daughter, Diana Sirney and her husband, Greg; a sister-in-law, Luana Grimm and her husband, Wayne; her grandchildren, Jerry, Glenn and his wife, Danelle, Carla and Nikki and her son Oscar and Dionna; her great grandchildren, Shawna and her husband, Garrett, Cosmo, Theresa, Jon Jon, Christian, Riley, Alex, Andrew, Blake, Dillon, Haley, Shaun, Amiera, Rylah and Leslie; 2 great great grandchildren, Kallie and MJ; her dearest friends, Lena, Laurie, Sandy and Meg and many extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her Husband, Carl Walters Jr.; a son, Carl Walters III; a daughter, Leslie Tanner and her grandchildren, Theresa, Michelle and Shaun Sirney and baby Jason.

A memorial service will be announced and held in the spring.
